GoJet Airlines is a regional jet carrier and operates as United Express from Chicago O'Hare, Denver and Washington Dulles. GoJet Airlines began service in October of 2005 and back then operated a fleet of 25 66-seat Bombardier CRJ700 jets. Today that fleet has grown to 47 CRJ700s, with 7 CRJ900s.

Employee benefits include health, dental and life insurance. This starts on the on 1st day of a month after 60 days of full time employment and includes long term disability.

Their 401K plan is applicable to employees over 21 years of age and after 12 months from start date.

Sick pay up to a maximum of 160 hours can be accumulated at 2 hours per month and full time employees are eligible for sick leave benefits after (6) months of service.

Paid vacation is available after 12 months of full time employment and ranges from 1 week after the first year up to 3 weeks after eight years.

Travel Privileges are pretty good with free flights available immediately upon employment provided space is available and with other airlines at a reduced rate after 6 months employment.

Do you qualify?
If you have flown at least once as a passenger, possess excellent communication skills and you present professionally, then this might be the company for you. You’ll have to be physically capable of lifting luggage and also be located close enough to your allocated base to crew a flight within an hour of being called.

They have crew bases in:

  • Chicago (ORD)
  • ​Denver (DEN)
  • Detroit (DTW)
  • Raleigh-Durham (RDU)
  • St. Louis (STL)

You must also be 19 years of age, be a US citizen or have the legal right to accept employment in the United States, have a high school diploma or equivalent and stand between 4'11" and 6'1" in height.
Your weight is to be in proportion to your height. English is a must and another language is a huge plus.
Eye wear is allowed, however your vision must be correctable to 20/40.

Operationally you must be able to accept a suit case lifestyle where you can be away from home base for 3 to 4 nights at a time.

If you’re selected for employment as a flight attendant with GoJet Airlines
You must successfully complete a training program at their Training Center in St. Louis, MO. Training is paid however this is likely to be at a reduced pre-graduation rate.

Training obviously includes aircraft familiarization, emergency procedures and first aid. You will be required to do homework, work some weekends and learn city codes, regulatory announcements, beverage service and take some training familiarization flights.

Training is evaluated by normal written and practical examinations and requires the standard 80% pass mark for most exams.
